There’s a level of HUMILITY required to trust in the Lord God for counsel, for insight and understanding, for the ancient whispers of Spirit to illuminate one’s understanding of scripture and guidance.
It is stated:
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. – Gospel of Matthew
Indeed true, but one must trust in the timing of revelation, for God knows when one and all are ready to receive it, even if the truth is uncomfortable. The tension is a necessary part of the process of letting go – the compression before the release – a rhythm of disturbance to the mind. Let us consider the shore as the mind, the waves roll in and wash away what nature has decided to clear from the shore. So it is with contraction and release – but one will discover the tension or discomfort can only be contained for so long before liberation, to free the mind and body of that which isn’t real. For love is real and after the release one develops a greater capacity for love, kindness and happiness – a sense of unity and belonging within the self, with others and the deeper world around you.
My recent post on the ‘eye of the lamp’ is a good example. I sat with this verse for days before the revelation arrived. Had I forced understanding on my own accord, attempt to think my way to knowing, I would have missed the mark. I waited. God knows I was posing the question, but God also knows when it is best for the revelation to arrive. This is how we dance with the Divine – it becomes a waltz, rather than a drunken’ boogie on the dance floor.
It’s quite the same with what’s happening to us now as one humanity, recognising ourselves as One body with many members, which could be considered as One universal church of Christ with many members. The discoveries and revelations are happening in perfect timing – like The Nag Hammadi Library and Jesus Christ bringing forth A Course in Miracles through Helen Schucman who received the teachings word for word, via a process of “inner dictation” with Him. Her outstanding dedication and commitment to this work took approximately 7 years.
There is no shame in not knowing what we did not ‘see’ and ‘hear’ yesterday, but God has decided we are ready and I trust in His timing and the need for us to put on the mind of Christ as we transition into the Age of Aquarius.
